星桥社区位于拱墅区祥符镇北侧，即祥符街道北部，因境内的古星桥得名。2009年6月30日撤村建居，同时正式更名为星桥社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初属杭县南肇和乡，1956年称祥符乡新胜农业社。1958年划入三墩公社祥符管理区，成为新胜生产大队；1961年起归祥符公社，仍称新胜大队；1981年改为星桥大队，1984年再改称星桥行政村。[1]
此后，2009年6月30日撤村建居，设立星桥社区。2017年3月，渡驾桥社区的一部分并入。[1]
社区概况[edit]
社区面积2.2平方千米，有居民529户，常住人口1813余人。西侧临西塘河与莫干山路，南靠石祥路，东侧为十字港河，北面连接北部软件园。[1]
