孔家埭社区地处拱墅区西北端，因原孔家埭村得名，2008年撤村建居。社区东邻杭州北部软件园，南面接祥符桥社区，西达西湖区三墩镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期隶属杭县祥符乡。1956年，它与陆家圩合为一个农业社，取名“五一”。1958年归三墩公社祥符桥管理区，成为孔家埭生产队。[1]

1961年起为祥符公社的一个大队，1966年名为向阳大队，1981年又改回孔家埭大队，1984年定为孔家埭行政村。[1]

2008年，行政村建制取消，此处改设孔家埭社区。2017年3月，陆家圩社区经拱墅区政府批准撤销，部分区域划入本社区。[1]

人口与社会[edit]

社区户籍人口467户，计1604人，其中股民户293户。社区另有流动人口1万余人，党员87人。[2]

此外还有浙江省戒毒所、杭州祥符水厂等单位在辖区内。2012年10月，社区便民服务中心投入使用，可办理劳动保障、民政帮扶等服务事项。[2]
