祥符桥社区位于莫干山路上祥符桥以南，因境内的明代石梁桥祥符桥得名。祥符桥为五孔石梁桥，桥体为明嘉靖二十二年（1543年）所建，是第七批全国重点文物保护单位「大运河」的子项。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初属祥符乡，1956年成为祥符农业社，1958年归三墩公社，为祥符生产队。1961年起隶属祥符公社，称祥符大队；1984年改名范家埭村，1997年又改为祥符桥村。[1]

1997年改称祥符桥村之后，2004年11月30日撤村建居，祥符桥社区随之设立。2017年3月，祥符社区经拱墅区政府批准并入，仍沿用祥符桥社区之名。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

祥符桥长28米，宽3.6米，孔高5米，为五孔壁墩式石梁桥。桥心设龙门石，表面浮雕荷花，望柱头雕覆莲或石狮。桥身刻有明嘉靖癸卯年（1543年）的重建铭文。[2]

2013年3月5日，祥符桥以「大运河」子项的身份，经国务院批准为第七批全国重点文物保护单位。[2]

据2023年3月的杭州网报道，桥南北一带正建设祥符桥传统风貌街区，桥旁的祥符茧行旧址和祥符桥粮仓已修缮还原。[3]
