西苑第一社区是浙江省杭州市拱墅区大关街道下辖的社区，位于古运河畔的大关苑居住区内。[1][2]

社区成立于2001年2月，由原西苑第三、西苑第五两个居民区合并而来，地名取自其位于大关西苑之东的方位。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年2月，西苑第三与西苑第五两个居民区合并成现在的社区，名称延用至今。[3]

地名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是因其地处大关西苑之东。[4]

地理环境[edit]

社区东侧以大关苑路为界，西与上塘路相邻，南端起于香积寺路口，北止于大关路，涵盖西三、西四、西五、西八四个苑区，面积约13万平方米。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

社区有住户2259户，总人口约5568人。[2]

文化[edit]

2001年，社区被评为「浙江省文明社区」「浙江省示范社区居委会」；2004年获「浙江省百佳社区」称号；2006年获「杭州市拱墅区绿色社区」称号。[2]

2024年1月，社区入选「浙江省2023年度省级“民主法治村（社区）”」名单。[1]
