拱宸桥街道是浙江省杭州市拱墅区下辖的街道，办事处驻温州路40号，也是拱墅区委、区政府所在地。街道因境内横跨京杭大运河的明代三孔石拱桥拱宸桥得名，下辖温州路、台州路、登云路、桥西、衢州路、蚕花园、永庆路和文澜八个社区。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

街道于1954年8月设立，当时属拱墅区。1960年3月曾更名为拱墅区人民公社下属的拱宸桥分社，1963年又回到街道建制；1967年起称革命委员会，1980年10月重新称办事处。[3][4]

地理环境[edit]

运河从辖区中穿过，把街道分成桥东、桥西两块。与上塘街道接壤的是东面和北面，西边连着祥符、和睦两街道，南边则是小河街道。[2][3]

辖区面积的记载不一：拱墅区人民政府网站2022年所载及维基百科为约4.23平方千米，博雅地名网概况记为约3.03平方千米，百度百科记为4.13平方千米。[6][5][2][4]

名胜古迹[edit]

拱宸桥建于明崇祯四年（1631年）。在杭州的古桥里，它的高度与长度都居首，同时是大运河南端的地标。1714年，浙江布政使段志熙牵头捐资重修；1726年，浙江巡抚李卫再次重修；1885年，富绅丁丙主持重修，形成今日所见的桥。该桥先后定为省级文物保护单位，后又列为全国重点文物保护单位，并被列入大运河世界文化遗产点。[7]

通益公纱厂旧址位于拱宸桥西侧，始建于清光绪二十二年（1896年），是清末民族工业的遗存。该厂于1956年改名杭州第一棉纺厂。[8]

荣誉[edit]

2021年度浙江省文化和旅游厅认定的景区镇街道名单中，拱宸桥街道被列为「4A级景区街道」。[6]
