明真宫社区位于小河街道，东邻京杭大运河，社区名取自旧时明真宫一带的地名。[1]

社区北接余杭塘河，西以莫干山路为界，南端是哑吧弄，面积约0.25平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网引述的旧志，明真宫为祭祀元天上帝的真武行宫，历史可追溯至南宋，相传由鲁班降神所建。[1]

社区2001年2月由明真宫居民区改组设立。[1]
