小河街道位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区中部，地处京杭大运河两侧。街道名取自辖区内的小河，这条河是大运河北侧的一条支流，又名西塘河，河道窄而年代久远，人们习惯上一直叫它小河，后来这个名字用作了地名。[1]

辖区内既有小河直街历史保护街区，也有运河商务区以及远洋、万通两个商务区，老街与现代商务区并存。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

街道1954年8月设立，前身为湖墅街道办事处，属拱墅区。[1] 1964年之前，此地先后以拱墅公社分社和大关街道办事处的名义存在，1964年定名为小河街道办事处。1968年8月设小河街道革命委员会，1980年恢复为小河街道办事处，沿用至今。[1]

2019年12月，街道被列入「第三批智慧健康养老示范街道（乡镇）」名单。[1] 2023年，街道获评「全省城市社区议事协商创新试点」「杭州市首批残疾人康复之家示范型单位」，以及「全市首批十佳乡镇（街道）社会工作站」等荣誉。[3] 「小河共治」街域治理模式也已获得「全国社会治理创新案例」等多项荣誉。[2]

地理环境[edit]

京杭大运河、余杭塘河与西塘河（小河）在辖区内交汇。[1]

街道面积6.38平方千米，写字楼、商场、园区和特色街区与34个住宅小区并存。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

小河直街历史保护街区的整体风貌为江南民居的样式，街区约一公里长。2007年国庆节，这条充满市井味道的老街经修缮后重新开放。[4]

南宋时期，此处紧挨京杭大运河，已是物资集散地。到清代中晚期，这里重新发展起来，旅店、蚕茧、酿造、百货、茶点与餐饮等行业陆续兴起。居民祖辈多从事运河航运的搬运与造船。[4][5]
