霞湾巷社区位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区湖墅街道，濒临京杭大运河，成立于2001年。社区东至红建河与德胜巷，南至德胜桥，西临大兜路运河，北至香积寺巷，范围约0.9平方千米。[1]

社区名称来自境内的霞湾巷。该巷在明代称衙湾巷，后音讹为霞湾，清代开始沿用此名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区组建于2001年2月，前身为霞湾巷、香积寺巷与德胜路三处居民区。[1]

人口与居民[edit]

社区住户2457户，居民分在24个小组中，总人口约5439人。[1]

地域与设施[edit]

社区位于城乡结合部，列为旧城改造范围。德胜巷一带的清水公寓设网球场、游泳池、室内外健身场所和地下停车库。[1]

辖区内设中策职业高级中学与香积寺巷小学等单位。[1] 社区北部的富义仓遗址与御码头公园是社区开展文化宣传与教育活动的基地。[2]

社区党委设6个党支部，有党员229名。[1]

社区先后获得省级城市体育先进社区、全国优秀志愿者组织等荣誉，另有浙江省老龄工作规范化社区的称号。[2]
