仓基新村社区位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区湖墅街道，东临京杭运河，西侧为湖墅南路，南端抵德胜桥，北端抵江涨桥。社区于2001年4月成立，建于80年代中期，属老旧小区。[1][2]

社区名称来自辖区内的仓基新村住宅小区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2001年4月，仓基上、卖鱼桥、宝庆路与大夫坊四个居委会合并，组建为仓基新村社区。[1]

人口与居民[edit]

社区楼群共66幢，其中居民住宅占50幢，单元121个，居民2169户，常驻人口5780人。[1] 残疾人员有108人，退休人员1428人，60岁以上老人为1318人。[1]

党建[edit]

社区有在册党员341名。[1]

辖区单位与服务[edit]

辖区内有三十余家单位，包括区老干部局、残联、教师进修学校、红樱幼儿园、房管站和农行之江支行等。[1]

2009年4月，社区设立阳光食堂与阳光理发室，形成居家养老服务的特色品牌。[2] 2009年社区换届选举采用电子直选、电子投票与观察员制度，据博雅地名网所载，这在全国是首次。[2] 2013年起，社区开始建设智慧社区门禁系统。[2]
