双荡弄社区位于浙江省杭州市拱墅区湖墅街道，东界为湖墅南路，西界为莫干山路，南面连接文一路，北面以卖鱼桥小学为界，占地约9.9万平方米。[1]

社区名称来自境内的双荡弄。弄南侧原有两处池塘，称双连荡，现已不存在。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区成立于2001年2月，由原双荡新村、湖墅新村两个居民区组建而成，地名沿用至今。[1]

人口与居民[edit]

社区现有住宅楼38幢、111个单元，住户共2228户；常住人口4951人，另有流动人口500余人。[1] 残疾人有124人，60岁以上的老年人为963人。[1]

党建[edit]

在册党员201名，社区分设7个党支部。[2]

家庭教育与荣誉[edit]

2006年9月，杭州市妇联与市家庭教育学会授予社区「杭州市首家家庭教育指导实践基地」称号。[2] 2008年，社区的「家庭隔代教育」获全国社区教育示范项目称号。[2] 2012年8月，全国妇联、教育部与中央文明办把社区评为「全国家庭教育工作示范社区」。[2]

2013年1月，社区被命名为「杭州市第七批绿色社区」。[1]
