湖墅街道是浙江省杭州市拱墅区下辖的街道，处于区域的中南地带，大运河穿境而过，明清以来有「十里银湖墅」之称。街道总面积2.73平方千米，辖有7个社区，办事处设在珠儿潭巷。[1][4]

街道以辖区内的古地名湖墅得名。1954年至1964年间其名称几经变更，1964年起定名为湖墅街道。[2][3]

名称[edit]

关于湖墅之名，博雅地名网载有两种说法：一说因靠近西湖而称湖墅；另一说由「湖市」音转而来，清代顾祖禹所著《读史方舆纪要》记载，北新关至武林门一带居民稠密，当地称为湖市。[2] 拱墅区的区名则取自拱宸桥与湖墅各一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年8月，此地设茶亭庙街道，隶属拱墅区。1960年，它成为拱墅人民公社的一个分社，名为大关分社。1963年又恢复为茶亭庙街道，次年才改称湖墅街道，仍属拱墅区。[2][3]

1968年起，机构称为湖墅街道革命委员会，至1980年才重新用湖墅街道之名，并沿用至今。[2]

地理环境[edit]

街道东侧与上塘街道、大关街道接壤，边界沿上塘路、红建河和德胜巷一带。西侧沿莫干山路与和睦路，隔路与小河街道及西湖区的西溪街道相对。南侧以文一路、德胜路为分界，同米市巷街道相连；北面则到贾家弄、大关路一线，接小河街道。[1]

京杭大运河穿过辖区。[1]

人口与党组织[edit]

据2024年4月发布的街道简介，全街道总户数12809户，户籍人口28970人；其中常住人口为30497人，流动人口为8875人。[1]

街道共有127个基层党组织，党员2486人，两新组织中的党员为821人。[1]

产业[edit]

街道依托运河财富小镇，把绿地中央广场、金融园区与元谷文创园区整合为「一核两园」的产业发展平台。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

香积寺位于香积寺巷，始建于北宋太平兴国三年（978年），原名兴福寺，北宋大中祥符年间改称香积寺。据《武林梵志》所载，寺院由姓柯的乡绅捐出宅第建成。寺中供奉监斋菩萨，俗称灶神，故又称厨神庙。[2][6]

富义仓位于霞湾巷8号，为清代建筑，是第七批全国重点文物保护单位「大运河」的子项。博雅地名网将富义仓遗址写在霞湾巷社区北部。[7][8]

大兜路历史文化街区沿京杭大运河东岸展开，全长约780米，自运河大关桥至江涨桥。[9] 街道下设的区域发展与治理中心挂有大兜路历史街区管理委员会的牌子。[4] 2026年的报道称，街区内青石板路修旧如旧，老厂房与民国旧居已改成创意咖啡馆和茶室。[6]
