九堡社区在九堡街道的东部，博雅地名网称它为江干区最大的撤村建居社区；名称的来由是邻近九堡街。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初，此地隶属丰乡。1954年，境内的同心、仁爱、友爱三村各自分出若干个社。1956年，八个社合组为民丰高级社。[1]
1958年，民丰高级社改为民丰大队。1961年，它分出民丰、和丰、九堡三个大队；1966年，三者重新合并，称为九堡大队。此后，1969年的名字是卫东大队，直到1981年8月才又恢复为九堡大队。今天的名称是1983年12月确定的。[1]
