格畈社区位于杭州城东郊，在九堡镇北部，前身为格畈村村民委员会，2005年底由村改为社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，此地有双桥、会计、格畈、永康、北九堡五个小村。1956至1957年间，几个小村的农业社先后合并为幸福、永丰两个农业合作社；1958年合为幸福大队，1962年复又分设，1966年再度合并。1983年，大队改称格畈村。[2]

撤村建居[edit]

此地原是城郊农村的面貌。从2001年开始，江干经济科技园区动工建设，格畈村随之分批整村拆迁；2005年底完成撤村，改设格畈社区；2009年，拆迁居民的安置全部落实。[1]

居民与组织[edit]

辖区分为13个居民片小组，居住常住居民748户，登记户籍人口3404人，另有流动人口近两万。党委之下设18个支部：13个在居民片小组，4个在非公企业，1个在新杭州人服务站；党员共124人。辖区有大中型企业31家。以上数字，博雅地名网未注统计年份。[1]

撤村建居之后，服务的范围变宽，对象更为复杂，需求也日趋多样。社区遂以党建为引领，推行一套名为「1680」的党群工作法，划出9个网格，逐格组织服务。博雅地名网载，此法之下社区接办居民事务共1782件，已结办1732件，另有14件共性难题，如停车与垃圾站搬迁，得到解决。[1]
