历史沿革[edit]
建国初这里称金门槛，属杭县乔司区皋城乡。1962年成为丁桥人民公社的皋城大队，1984年8月改为皋城行政村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村子北侧紧邻皋亭山，南侧是上塘河，东边与天都城相接，西边与沿山村相连。村域总面积4300亩，其中山林2780亩，分为三个村民小组。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
2003年，村在上塘河以北建成占地570亩的生态千桃园，园内有凉亭、小桥、鱼塘，并种植桃花、桂花、樟树等花木。[2]

2004年，村先后被评为「省级示范村」「市级示范村」「区级文明村」等。[2]
2005年被评为省、市级园林绿化村；2006年被评为「杭州最美丽村村庄」。[2]
