黄家社区位于笕桥街道东部，前身为黄家村，2010年撤村建社区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

此处早先称黄家道地，西侧建有磁王庙。因村中多黄姓，遂得现名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年隶属笕桥乡的联心农业社，1958年成为笕桥人民公社的黄家大队。1981年定名黄家村，1984年改设黄家行政村。[3]
