花园社区位于笕桥中部，前身为花园行政村，属杭州市第三批撤村建居的社区。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

相传此处原为郑家故园。翟灏的诗中写到这一带，其中有「花园兜里村」之句。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区前身为花园行政村。2005年，此地由村改为社区，同年12月30日完成「翻牌」；次年1月设立党委，同年3月才选出首届居委会。[4][2]
