王家井社区位于彭埠街道，处于火车东站西侧，东面以铁路枢纽为界，南面以京杭运河和新塘路为界，西面以环站西路为界，北面以麦庙路为界。社区占地28.23万平方米，绿地8.47万平方米，绿化率30%。[1][2]社区是一个新型的回迁安置小区，所在位置也位于火车东站枢纽的范围之内。[1]
设立[edit]
社区的设立年份，两种资料有异。博雅地名网载，2012年12月整体回迁后，经江政发〔2012〕13号、41号等文件批准，原地块分设杨家桥社区与王家井社区。[3]百度百科则作2017年正式设立。[2]两说并存，本条目不作取舍。
社区治理[edit]
社区每月固定开展一次卫生清洁活动，整治垃圾死角，修整草皮与树枝，并倡导绿色、低碳的生活方式。[1]社区组建了管理组、自查组、执行小组和督查小组，由社区党委和居委会统筹，形成四级组织网络。[1][2]
2024年，街道在撤村建居社区推行党建引领的治理转型，王家井社区承担试点任务，工作包括理顺社区与经合社的权责、建立协商制度，并加强集体资产的管理。[4]
