七堡社区位于彭埠街道东部，濒临钱塘江北岸，南侧是杭海路，北侧为艮山东路，属城乡结合型社区。社区有常住居民1098户，共3754人。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

七堡之名，据百度百科所载，指古时为防御水患而沿钱塘江修筑的堤堡之一。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，此地分为七堡村与七堡居民区两个区块，七堡村的主业是蔬菜种植，此外也从事渔业、畜牧和工副业。2007年，两个区块合并，统称七堡社区。[1][2]

社区历史上曾是商贸集散之地，境内有七堡老街。钱江新城二期建设期间，社区居民曾被拆迁，之后被安置到城市核心区的回迁小区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年、2021年和2022年，社区先后入选阿里研究院公布的「淘宝村」名单。[1]
