章家坝社区位于彭埠街道，地处杭州东部，西侧濒京杭大运河，浙赣铁路线自境内穿过。社区区域面积0.7平方千米，在册人口1886余人。[1]社区于2002年撤村建居，同时成为杭州市首批「城中村」改造试点之一。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，此地为章家坝行政村。1958年改称章家坝生产队，归笕桥公社新塘管理区；1961年划归彭埠公社；1984年复称章家坝行政村，村委会驻章家坝，下辖5个自然村，耕地473亩，以种植蔬菜为主。[1]

社区撤村建居的年份，两种资料有异：上城区人民政府网站的报道作2002年，博雅地名网作2003年撤村建社区。[1][2]章家坝股份经济合作社于2002年成立。[2]

城中村改造[edit]

2002年起，社区作为杭州市首批「城中村」改造试点，经历八年多次项目拆迁。[2]2004年启建首个回迁安置小区云河家园，2008年10月起，首批168户居民陆续入住。2010年，社区完成整村拆迁，2019年完成回迁安置。[2]

社区概况[edit]

社区内的钱江华府小区建成于2017年，共1401户。2022年，该小区获评上城区「尚邻一家·五好小区」。[3]
