采荷街道隶属杭州市上城区，坐落在上城区西南一带。它东面与四季青街道接壤，其余方向依次与望江、小营、凯旋等街道相邻。[1] 街道1987年10月经杭州市民政局批准成立，2021年3月随行政区划调整划归上城区。[2][3]

名称由来[edit]

街道得名于辖区内的采荷小区。小区西南旧有南宋修建的蔡湖桥，后来人们把“蔡湖”念成与之相近的“采荷”，街道便沿用了这一名称。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年，此地分属江干区乌龙乡的永庆村、永和村与永和新村。1958年改归四季青人民公社，并编入观音塘与永庆两个生产队。1967年，这里成为四季青人民公社的常青大队，1984年8月又称常青行政村。[2]

杭州市民政局于1987年10月15日批准设立采荷街道。2001年，江干区调整了采荷、凯旋、闸弄口三个街道的界线。2021年3月，因行政区划调整，采荷街道划入上城区。[2][1]

名胜古迹[edit]

夕照社区境内保存着钱塘江海塘与碑亭，二者同为市级重点文物。[2]

2022年，街道建成宋韵海塘公园。按街道的年度工作总结，它是全市首个宋元时期的海塘公园。[4]
