上羊市街社区是杭州市上城区紫阳街道下辖的社区，位于街道北部，东起贴沙河，北到望江路。社区所在地是新中国第一个居民委员会的诞生地。[1][2][3]

地名[edit]

社区沿用的「羊市街」之名，原指江城路北段一带。这段路在宋代称马坡巷，明代分为上、下马坡巷，清代末年改称羊市街，民国时期仍用此名。1981年，各段统一改称江城路。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月23日成立的上羊市街居委会，2008年经民政部确定为「新中国第一个居民委员会」。[1]

2001年，社区成立，其前身为袁井巷、金钗袋巷、大狮子巷和上羊市街四个居委会。[1][2]

文物古迹[edit]

社区内有胡雪岩旧居（元宝街18号），为清同治十一年（1872年）始建的宅邸，是第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[4]

社区内还有朱智故居，原名源丰祥茶号旧址，为浙江省第八批省级文物保护单位，原为近代杭州籍军机重臣朱智的寓所，现作为中国社区建设展示中心使用。[1][5]

社区内另有当代光学专家蒋筑英的纪念室。[1][2]

荣誉与近况[edit]

2021年6月，社区党委被授予「浙江省先进基层党组织」称号。[1]

2023年6月，社区入选首批浙江省现代社区名单；2023年7月，被命名为浙江省「红色根脉」强基（基层党建）示范村（社区）。[2]
