水澄桥社区位于杭州市上城区南星街道，地处杭城南部，北至复兴路，南止钱塘江。社区名称取自中河上的水澄桥。据博雅地名网，此名为体现历史底蕴而取。[1]

社区总面积0.75平方公里，总户数2342户，总人口6123人，辖区内有江新苑、清河家园、六和源、好望角、民安苑、水澄花园等六个小区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2000年1月以前，此地分属美政桥、洋泮桥、海月桥、化仙桥、山南、十亩田等居委会，同年1月组建十亩田社区。其后，2006年3月，十亩田家园改归海月桥社区，社区于是更名为水澄桥社区。[1] 快懂百科则记为2003年重新设置水澄桥社区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

社区曾获浙江省文明社区、杭州市文化示范社区等称号，区级的和谐示范社区称号也在其列。[3]

社区以传统节庆文化为特色，逐步形成了文化品牌。[2]
