玉皇山社区位于杭州市上城区南星街道南部，是由撤村建居而来的老社区，东边到里太祖湾，西边到江洋畈，北边依傍玉皇山，南边抵复兴大道。据博雅地名网，玉皇山唐代称玉柱峰，五代称育王山，宋代以后又称玉龙山、卧龙山、龙山、龙华山，明代山上建福星观供奉玉皇大帝，此后遂称玉皇山。[1]

辖区总面积2.11平方公里，常住户2437户，总人口近一万，流动人口约占社区总人口的40%。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2002年，山南一带因整块地拆迁，居民渐少。2005年，街道把山南社区并入邻近的玉皇社区，合为玉皇山社区，原有职能保持不变。博雅地名网历史沿革所载辖区扩大为2.44平方千米，与其辖区概况所载的2.11平方公里不一致。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内有吴汉月墓、八卦田、白云庵等古迹，此外还有慈云岭造像、紫来洞与七星缸。[1]

八卦田遗址属南宋皇家籍田，绍兴十三年（1143年）开始营建，面积为100000平方米，约合150亩。外围呈正八边形，中间为圆形，其土丘、田塍与水沟排列整齐，形似八卦。绍兴十六年（1146年），宋高宗赵构在此地行过亲耕礼。明代以后，这里的籍田仍作良田，由附近居民耕种。[2]

吴汉月墓位于八卦田北面施家山南麓，墓主吴汉月是吴越国王钱元瓘的妃子，也是钱弘俶的生母，卒于后周广顺二年（952年）。墓葬于1958年发掘，现保护完好，为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[3]

玉皇山南天真山上有吴越郊台遗址，为省级文物保护单位。将台山近山顶南侧还有一口水井，列入古井名录。[4]
